An omni-directional laser live-mapped 3D topography and sent the detailed scanned images to the viewing platform. A hyper-conducting spherical shell allowed smooth, self-propelled flight in any atmosphere. Polymer film bio-sensors could detect airborne toxins and life forms down to 500 nanometers.
