The September 29 Attacks - an attack on 71 E Corp buildings housing documents meant to help rebuild their financial database, causing 71 buildings across the country to explode or catch fireleaving over 3,000 people dead. The official story is that the attack was perpetrated by Sunil Markesh and Shama Biswas on behalf of Iran, however the Dark Army and Tyrell Wellick are the true culprits.
Comments:- Elliot goes to work at E Corp, realizes he's been fired and that Stage 2 is going to happen today. Anti E Corp protesters break into E Corp. Angela copies important data from an HSM in a secure room as a prerequisite to Stage 2, then passes the data to a Dark Army agent. [Season 3 Episode 5 eps3.4_runtime-error.r00]

- FBI agent Dominique DiPierro discovers Tyrell Wellick's hideout in the basement of the Red Wheelbarrow restaurant. Elliot goes to the Stage 2 target building to prevent the explosion from the inside, even though Mr. Robot constantly delays him and makes Elliot attack himself. Tyrell gets arrested in public, screaming for them to stop the attack. Believing he has stopped Stage 2, Elliot is pondering Whiterose's true plan when he sees reports of explosions at the 71 E Corp facilities to which he redirected the paper records, leaving thousands dead.
