During Congressman MacLeish's first tour in Afghanistan, he leads a Ranger Special Forces unit into a remote Afghani village outside of Marja. What happens next depends on who you ask. Either he was a hero that saved his men after they were ambushed by Taliban forces, or he and his men massacred a series of Afghani villages - 3 in 24 hours - after several of their unit had been killed by a aTaliban sniper. Either way, he ended receiving a Bronze Star for combat bravery.
